Overview
Our 2-Hour tour leaves at 9 am or 3 pm and follows the scenic South Portland Greenbelt Pathway to two local lighthouses. The first stop on the tour will be Portland Breakwater Light, also known as “Bug Light” and then the tour will continue to Spring Point Ledge Light, located near historic Fort Preble, before returning to the bike shop.

Itinerary
- 1Bug Light Park 1 hour
Bicycle along a bike trail and on a few quiet roads along the coast of South Portland to a small lighthouse called Bug Light. t was built in 1875 to help ships navigate into Portland Harbor and is still in use today.
- 2Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse 1 hour
Continue bicycling to Spring Point Light. This lighthouse was built in 1897 and is situated at the end of a long granite breakwater that you are permitted to walk on to visit the lighthouse. Also, located next to a historic fort built in 1812 and used in every war until world war two.
