   Tampa Riverwalk Pass by

   HISTORIC MONUMENT TRAIL. As you continue walking along the riverwalk trail, you’re going to see some pretty spectacular marble and bronze statues scattered along the way.

   We don’t really need to point this one out.. It's pretty obvious! Welcome to Amalie Arena, home to over 670,000 square feet of excitement!

   The Sail Pavilion on the Riverwalk Pass by

   An incredibly unique 360-degree open-air, waterfront bar! A beautiful place to take a break, sit for a moment and simply enjoy all the excitement and action that’s taking place along the Riverwalk!

   What if instead of going for a swim, paddling your canoe or kayak or hopping on a boat, you went for a bike ride down the river instead? We'll tell you all about it and you can decide!

    Not only is the building itself very impressive, but as you can probably see, the location is pretty fantastic as well offering guests a beautiful walk and lot’s of things to do.

    This park is dedicated to the contributions the university, better known as USF, makes to the city of Tampa Bay. We'll tell you a bit about it and the university itself.

    There’s no denying, as we take in the spectacular skyline of downtown Tampa Bay, that this Riverwalk is breathtaking. But, as I’m sure you’ve noticed, Tampa’s natural beauty is pretty breathtaking, too!

    This park was established to honour MacDill Air Force Base’s contributions to Tampa. It may seem pretty small, but its intention is big! We'll tell you why.

    HILLSBOROUGH RIVER....the snaking, twisting, curvy waterway we’ve been walking alongside flows through Florida from Green Swamp right into Tampa Bay.

    The 4.5 acre garden originally showcased 5 separate pools, each with an island & palm tree.. how idyllic! Thanks to the “Friends of Kiley Gardens”, as of 2022, it’s being worked on to bring it more in line with the original vision.

    The University of Tamps really is quite an interesting place with a very interesting history! If you want to explore the campus, you can cross the river at either of the bridges and take a look.

    Ghosts of Plant Hall. Spooky footsteps echoing up and down vacant corridors, spectres gliding seamlessly through walls, sightings of the shadowy figure of a distinguished gentleman in a brown suit, the stories of hauntings are plenty!

    Stretching out to greet the Hillsborough River, like much of the Riverwalk, it uses Tampa’s breath-taking skyline as a dramatic backdrop to family fun and festivities.

    Ybor, in historic downtown Tampa, just across the river from here, was established pretty much entirely by cigar manufacturers. We'll tell you about the Cuban influence still seen in this area today.

    Welcome to the latest addition to the Tampa River Walk as of 2022. Hey if it’s a bit hot out, you can always head over to that giant yellow bucket full of water ... that should keep you refreshed and cool!

    Take a step back in time to 1910, when streetcars were a familiar sight on Tampa streets. Perhaps you can imagine a little of the community’s excitement as this building first opened its doors. We'll give you just a bit of it's history and evolution to today.
