Pickup or meet at start point
Wait in the parking lot corner of Puunene Ave and E Kaahumanu Ave. Look for a white Ford transit with the company name Hana and Beyond on either side of the vehicle.
Itinerary
- 1Ho'okipa Beach Park
20 minute drive from port of Kahului. Observe resting sea turtles and the beautiful North shore coastline of Maui.
- 2Haiku
Stop and stretch your legs while observing the unique rainbow bark eucalyptus trees after your first 30 minute ride through the rainforest of Hana.
- 3Kaumahina State Wayside Park
Kaumahina state park offers rest areas and scenic views of Maui's east coast.
- 4Stop
Overlook of agricultural terraces and utilization of ancient farming practices (quick photo op)
- 5Pua'a Ka'a State Park
Take a refreshing dip in a natural waterfall spring (weather permitting) at the Puaa Kaa State wayside park and restroom area.
- 6Wai'anapanapa State Park
Visit the world famous Pailoa bay at Honokolani (black sand beach) go for a salty swim (weather permitting) Enjoy a complimentary lunch and prepare for your return journey back to the port of Kahului. *Please note the total travel time each way without stops is approximately 2 hours.
- 7Wailua Valley State Wayside Park
Enjoy panoramic views of Wailua valley and coastal village. Quick stretch and photo op.
- 8Ke‘anae Point
Beautiful ocean views, Hawaiian history and world famous banana bread
- 9Ho'okipa Beach Park
To end the tour make one last stop at Hookipa beach park with a chance to observe more resting sea turtles and larger waves in the afternoon. (Weather permitting)
