Overview
This is a great way for beginners to get out on the snow and experience the winter wonderland out in nature. Take some bird seeds and see how many birds come and land on your hands. Hike up to the look out and get an amazing view of the lake on a clear day. Soak up the sun on a bluebird powder day or catch snowflakes on your tongue when it’s snowy.

You can hike up to a high point in the area where you may have a great view of Lake Tahoe. (This is weather dependent but Tahoe get a great number of sunny days in the winter.)
- 2Stop
This is a great option for a place to take your snowshoes and go explore the area. It is at a higher elevation so you topically have more snow up on the Ridge.
