Itinerary

   Godafoss 15 minutes

   We visit the stunning Godafoss waterfall, the 'Waterfall of the Gods' on our way from Akureyri to Lake Myvatn

   Lake Myvatn 3 hours

   We visit the main sites in Lake Myvatn including Námaskarð where you can see the bubbling Hverir mud pools and natural steam vents (fumaroles), the Dimmuborgir Lava formations and the Myvatn Nature Baths (please note the entrance fee to the Nature Baths is not included). For those who do not want to use the Nature Baths we can take you to Grotcaja cave and rift while others use the Nature Baths.

   Earth Lagoon Myvatn (Jardbodin vid Myvatn) 1 hour

   We stop at the Nature Baths to enjoy the baths and cafe. (Please note the entrance fee to the Nature Baths is not included) for entrance fee prices check

   Namafjall Hverir 20 minutes

   We stop at the Námaskarð area where you can view the bubbling Hverir Mud pools and pots and the Natural steam vents (fumaroles)

   Jokulsargljufur National Park 30 minutes

   Jokulsargljufur Canyon and River carved in epic floods from the Vatnajokull glacier

   Selfoss Waterfall 20 minutes

   We will see Selfoss Waterfall

   Vatnajokull National Park 15 minutes

   a vast national park covering Europe's largest glacial ice cap and surrounding areas.

   Hljooaklettar 30 minutes

   fantastic basalt hexagons

   Tjornes Peninsula 20 minutes

   where Puffins nest in the summer and is famous for dating back to the end off the ice age. View over öxafjord

    Asbyrgi 25 minutes

    a horseshoe canyon on the Arctic coastline with 100 meters high walls

    GeoSea 1 hour

    GeoSea Geothermal Sea Baths (optional add-on), a wonderful geothermal infinity pool over looking the bay of Skjalfandi. Use the bath, relax and enjoy view or take a walk through Husavik harbour where you can find resturant or cafe.

    Husavik 30 minutes

    famous for whale watching and small boat harbour
