From this elevated vantage point in Gaia, you will see the entire UNESCO World Heritage skyline, the Douro River, and the iconic Luís I Bridge laid out before you—the perfect spot for your first photographs.

   Catedral do Porto 15 minutes

   Standing at the city’s highest point, this 12th-century fortress-cathedral is the heart of Porto’s history. After a brief introduction to its Romanesque and Baroque grandeur, we begin a gentle downhill walking tour, navigating the charming medieval streets that lead toward the riverbank

   Sao Bento Railway Station 15 minutes

   Step inside one of the world’s most beautiful train stations. The grand atrium is famously covered in over 20,000 hand-painted tiles (azulejos) that vividly depict pivotal scenes from Portuguese history, transforming a transit hub into a stunning open-air museum.

   Rua das Flores 15 minutes

   Walk down Porto’s most trendy and historic pedestrian street. Once the home of 18th-century aristocrats and goldsmiths, it remains a vibrant artery of the city, filled with beautifully restored facades, boutique shops, and a unique "Old World" atmosphere.

   Cais da Ribeira 1 hour 30 minutes

   Reach the soul of the city at the riverside Ribeira. This UNESCO site is a kaleidoscope of colorful medieval houses and bustling cafes. You will have time to enjoy a traditional lunch (not included) by the water, soaking in the energy of Porto’s most iconic neighborhood.

   Board a traditional boat for a scenic cruise along the Douro River. Drifting between Porto and Gaia, you will pass under the historic bridges and gain a unique perspective of the city's architecture and the Port wine lodges that have defined this region for centuries.

   We conclude our exploration in Vila Nova de Gaia, the global headquarters of Port wine. You will visit a prestigious cellar to learn about the aging process of this world-famous nectar and enjoy a professional tasting, the perfect final toast before our comfortable return to Lisbon.
