Hosted at a Colorado Springs wine bar, this hands-on cooking experience puts you in front of the mixing bowl instead of the takeout menu. Under Chef Juwanza’s guidance, you’ll learn pasta-making from scratch, starting with a dough made from semolina flour, eggs and olive oil.
You’ll practice kneading, shaping and preparing fresh pasta while learning techniques that build confidence in the kitchen. Then you’ll transform your handmade pasta into two classic dishes. Simmer a hearty Spaghetti Bolognese with ground meat, tomatoes, onions and carrots, and prepare a creamy Fettuccine Alfredo with butter, garlic, heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
Expect flour on your hands, incredible aromas in the air and plenty of hands-on fun. Chef Juwanza keeps every step approachable, whether you’re new to pasta-making or looking to sharpen your skills. Leave knowing exactly how to recreate pasta night from scratch.
