Although this trip is conducted in Deception Pass State Park we avoid the turbulent water near the bridge which is more suitable for expert kayakers. - 1Deception Pass State Park
Deception Pass State Park is Washington's most popular state park. Over one million visitors and residents visit Deception Pass to explore its beautiful trails and scenic beaches, and to walk across the historic Deception Pass Bridge.
- 2Fidalgo Island
Bowman Bay is located on Fidalgo Island and offers a peaceful place for kayakers of all ages and abilities. Just outside the bay participants are treated to expansive views of Fidalgo Island and the rest of the San Juan islands.
