The Ouzoud Waterfalls, located in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, are about 150 km northeast of Marrakech. These three-tiered falls drop over 110 meters into a lush gorge surrounded by olive groves and Berber villages. Visitors can explore walking paths with panoramic views, and an optional boat ride takes you close to the base for a refreshing experience.
The area is home to Barbary macaques, wild monkeys that roam freely, but should be approached with caution. Efforts are in place to promote sustainable tourism and preserve the site’s beauty.
