Our tour offers a thrilling and immersive winter experience right outside of Fairbanks. Unlike typical sightseeing, you’ll actively explore Alaska’s pristine backcountry by snowmobile, guided by a local expert who will first teach you how to safely operate your machine. Then, you’re off to ride through a breathtaking winter wonderland—crossing frozen rivers and lakes, weaving through snow-covered trails, and taking in the stunning mountain scenery around the Chena Lakes Recreation Area near North Pole, Alaska. - Guests must arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled tour start time for the mandatory safety briefing; arriving later (for example after 9:30 for a 10:00 tour) will result in forfeiting the tour and you will not be eligible for a refund. Safety briefing, gear check & helmet fittings will be conducted before each tour.
- Drivers must be at least 18 years old & hold a valid driver’s license (international licenses are accepted). Individuals aged 7 to 17 may ride as a passenger only.
- Driving time will be 60 minutes (1 full hour).
- Children aged 6 years-old or younger, will not be permitted on the tour.
- Tours are subject to change due to unsafe temperatures or lack of snow.
