Did you know Yellowstone is one of the world’s largest super volcanoes? This is a fantastic way to observe wildlife as well as take in Yellowstone’s numerous geyser basins and volcanic landscape.
Our day will begin by passing through Grand Teton National Park, taking time to stop and observe wildlife and scenery along the way. We will continue on to Yellowstone, making stops at Old Faithful geyser, Yellowstone Lake, the Lower Falls of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and the Hayden Valley a wildlife hotspot, as well as geothermal areas.
Yellowstone National Park’s rich history, geology, wildfires and wildlife will be discussed in detail throughout the tour. There are many stops throughout the tour for guests to get out of the vehicle and observe the different wildlife with the binoculars and scope that we provide, and to walk the various boardwalks of Yellowstone.

Pickup or meet at start point
If you don’t need an accommodation pickup, please meet at the Town of Jackson Parking Garage, free covered public parking near Jackson Town Square. Your guide will be in a vehicle marked Guides of Jackson Hole.
Itinerary
- 1Old Faithful
Our expert naturalist guides will show you the highlights of Yellowstone National Park including Old Faithful, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and the Hayden Valley.
- 2Grand Prismatic Spring
If requested we take a short walk to view this amazing rainbow of water from an overlook.
- 3Upper Falls
Our expert naturalist guides will show you the highlights of Yellowstone National Park including Old Faithful, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and the Hayden Valley.
- 4Hayden Valley
Our expert naturalist guides will show you the highlights of Yellowstone National Park including Old Faithful, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and the Hayden Valley.
- 5Yellowstone National Park
The rest of the time will be spent driving the lower loop road of Yellowstone National Park, viewing wildlife and scenic overlooks
- 6Grand Teton National Park
You will drive through Grand Teton Nation Park both on the way to and from Yellowstone, with many scenic views of the Teton mountains and likely wildlife sightings along the way!

- We welcome families. Please provide your own infant car seat. We have one toddler booster seat.
