The journey begins at Michigan Avenue, cruises up the Chicago River, and ends with a spectacular view of the Chicago Fireworks as seen from the Chicago River.
The vessel has an open-air upper deck, and enclosed climate controlled lounge on the lower deck. There is a bar on board with beer, hard seltzer, and soft drinks.

The Chicago Water Taxi's River Fireworks Cruise leaves from the Chicago Water Taxi's Michigan Avenue Stop, adjacent to Wendella's West Dock, located between the Wrigley Building and Trump International Hotel & Tower.
Itinerary
- 1Chicago River
You'll cruise up and down the main branch of the Chicago River while passing by many of Chicago's famous landmarks. Your tour ends with a spectacular view of the Chicago Fireworks as seen from the Chicago River.
- 2Centennial Fountain And Water Arc
Dedicated in 1989 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, known for reversing the flow of the Chicago River in 1900. For the first five minutes of every hour, the fountain shoots a water arc across the river from a tiered waterfall.
- 3Michigan Avenue Bridge
Michigan Avenue is home of the Chicago Water Tower, the Art Institute of Chicago, Millennium Park, and the shopping on the Magnificent Mile.
