Skip the crowded tour busses and lines and see Washington DC from the water!  Captain Owen Koch is a DC area native and has fished the Potomac River for over four decades. Not only are 20- and 30-pound catches a fairly regular occurrence, but you will gain a whole new perspective of the Potomac River, its local history going back over four centuries, and the ecology of the river ecosystem. Capital Blues is a fully licensed and insured business and Captain Owen is a certified Coast Guard Captain. We will be fishing from a 18 foot pontoon boat, allowing us to reach more areas of the river and accommodate more passengers with a larger deck layout than most fishing boats.
