On Day 1, embark on a historic journey to Alcatraz Island, home to one of the world’s most infamous federal prisons. Board the ferry at Fisherman’s Wharf and enjoy a self-guided audio tour of Alcatraz, which is available in multiple languages. Explore the eerie, abandoned prison cells, learn about daring escape attempts, and dive into the history of Alcatraz as a military fort, penitentiary, and Native American occupation site. You can take as much time as you like exploring the island, while enjoying panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline and Golden Gate Bridge.
- 2Fisherman's Wharf 10 minutes
On day 2, begin your guided bike tour at bustling Fisherman's Wharf near the cable car turnaround on Taylor street in San Francisco, where you'll hop aboard your bikes and start your ride! Safety equipment is included and this easy ride is appropriate for all ages and skill levels, so the whole family can join in the fun!

Aquatic Park, just a few blocks away from Fisherman's Wharf, provides beautiful views of the San Francisco waterfront.See the iconic views of Ghiradelli Square, the Hyde Street piers, and the neighborhood Russian Hill.

See the former military fort, Fort Mason. Now a recreation center for local artistic events, fairs, and gourmet street food affairs.

You will ride past all of the yachts and see the beautiful landscapes and Golden Gate Bridge views Crissy Field has to offer.

Admire the grand Palace of Fine Arts, which was built in 1915 for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. The structure has been restored, and today hosts concerts and events.

The up to 3 hour guided bike tour will conclude in downtown Sausalito. Riders can enjoy lunch, see the sights of downtown Sausalito, and if desired return with their bike on the ferry (ferry ticket sold separately.)

- The date you book is the date you will visit Alcatraz Island.
- After confirming your booking, you will be given a precise Alcatraz departure time. Once on the island, guests may leave at any time as ferries depart every 30 to 40 minutes; the last departing ferry is usually 6:30pm.
- The Alcatraz date cannot be adjusted after booking
- All travelers first and last names are required upon booking
- For security purposes, a government-issued photo ID is required for all guests to board the Alcatraz ferry
- Self-Guided Audio guided tour lasts between 2.5 to 3 hours
- Alcatraz audio tour is available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Mandarin, Portuguese and Korean
- Alcatraz voucher and a valid photo ID for all travelers will be required to pick up your Alcatraz tickets at Pier 33
- Your bike tour will be reserved for the day after your Alcatraz trip.
- Your guided bike tour starts in Fisherman’s Wharf and takes you along the National Park Bike Path.
- Bike Tour is 8 miles and lasts up to 3 hours.
- The bike tour concludes in downtown Sausalito.
- Credit card with ID (one per party) is required to be on file for a security deposit
- Bike helmets are provided and recommended
- Bike tour departs at either 10:00 AM (year-round) or 2:00 PM (March-September).
- Ferry tickets from Sausalito to San Francisco are not included in ticket price.
