We start our tour crossing the 25 de Abril bridge (identical to the S. Francisco bridge in) towards the sanctuary of Cristo Rei

There are several churches for you to visit and also a convent that belongs to Santiago Order now turned into a hostel. From that point you can catch sight of both "Tejo" River and Sado River.

Crossing the Serra da Arrábida Natural Park, one of the most complete and protected Portuguese parks over 500 meters high, with a fabulous view of the Sado river estuary, where we have a resident colony of dolphins not very common for this class of mammals. Upon booking it is possible to take a boat trip to see this fantastic family of mammals. With the whitish tones of its limestone cliffs, the blue of the waters and the green of the vegetation covering the Arrábida mountain range, a combination of colors that results in a unique image.

In addition to the beaches, Sesimbra is known for its fish, considered one of the best in the world. The characteristics of the water, the artisanal fishing techniques used and the way it is prepared by local restaurants make it unique. In the summer, the typical barbecued fish is the most sought after dish, leaving an unmistakable and irresistible aroma in the air. Although this is the most traditional way of preparing fish, each year more and more restaurants present innovative dishes that have brought added value to Sesimbra and its fish. A holiday or a visit to Sesimbra are only truly complete when you taste its fish! A stroll through the Sesimbra Marginal street, day or night, is the best way to come in first contact with this fishing village, with more than five centuries of history. Between the Ouro beach, to the west, and the California beach, to the east, lies the Fortress of Santiago, the sixteenth century monument and a terrace overlooking the sea. Time for lunch!!!

Tile Tile uses the European traditional methods of tile making, and reproduces antique designs from, not only European countries, but Islamic and Chinese. We make flat hand painted tiles as well as relief tiles with different color glazes, in the style of Hispano-Moorish tiles of the 16th century.
